Staci's Notes:

This the fifth week of our colors unit. We will be talking about purple. The Teddy Bears are making Jello Jigglers. The Pooh Bears and Care Bears are making Daisy Biscuits. Don't forget to bring a purple toy on Thursday and a book about purple on Friday! We will also be wearing purple on Friday.

The Care Bears will be going to Motley's Pumpkin Patch October 17th. We will be leaving at 9:00 a.m. and will have a snack there. They will also need a sack lunch for a picnic following their hayride. We are expected to return by 12:30 p.m.! The $6 for the hayride, pumpkin, pig races, petting zoo, etc. will be added to your account. If you would like to join us please sign up in your child's classroom.

Staci's Notes:

As we enter our third week of colors, we are talking about the color Blue. The Teddy Bears and Care Bears are making Blue’s Clue’s cupcakes. The Pooh Bears have decided to make “Blue” chocolate covered cookies. Yummy! Thursday please help your child remember to bring a blue toy. Friday, we will all wear blue. These special things really reinforce color recognition and make them feel a part of the unit.
